Utah businesses attending the Utah Business Social Media Bootcamp at the Leonardo Museum learned social media marketing from Progrexion and others who shared their expertise.

Progrexion recently co-sponsored the Utah Business Social Media Bootcamp event held at the Leonardo Museum. Top marketing staff at Progrexion opened the event by presenting the company’s unique and proven strategies to market through online social media outlets. The event, held annually, offers Utah businesses an opportunity to learn and share social media strategies and opportunities, and for social media experts to network and share insider knowledge.

“Our inaugural Social Media Bootcamp was a great success, bringing together approximately 200 individuals from a variety of businesses to learn social media tips and tools,” said Sarah Ryther Francom, Managing Editor of Utah Business magazine. “One of our primary goals is to educate Utah’s business leaders through our magazine and events like the Social Media Bootcamp. We are proud to work with companies like Progrexion to further this goal.”

Event attendees shared their strategies to increase marketing exposure via sophisticated social media marketing techniques. Expert presenters were on hand to provide in-depth, insider information and to answer questions. Presentations focused on all aspects of social media marketing, including strategies to effectively engage audiences, manage content and traffic, and monetize and track new clients through social media apps and analytics.

“Utah is fortunate to be thriving from an economic perspective right now. I feel one of the contributors to the strong economy is the strong online marketing knowledge and presence that we have within the state,” says Josh Aston, Director of Online Marketing for Progrexion Marketing. “Progrexion Marketing has seen a large amount of success in 2012 and we are excited to share our experiences, thoughts, and insights into the wins we've seen within the Social Media channel.”
