Berkeley, CA (PRWEB) May 31, 2012
San Francisco Bay Area branding and website design firm, Project6 Design, is proud to announce that they have won two new honors from the 18th Annual Communicator Awards in the Charitable Organizations/non-profit website redesign category. Their updated web design for healthcare non-profit California HealthCare Foundation (CHCF) has won a Silver Communicator Award. Additionally, they won another Silver Communicator Award for the web design and development work with San Francisco Goodwill, where they created a digital Annual Report for the organization.
The Communicator Awards honor work that transcends innovation and craft - work that made a lasting impact, providing an equal chance of winning to all entrants regardless of company or agency size and project budget. These honors are presented to recognize big ideas in marketing and communications.
The award-winning project for healthcare non-profit California HealthCare Foundation included a complete overhaul of their user experience (UX) and website design. Project6 examined the website information architecture to better reflect the key driving factors of principal target audience of the Foundation. The new website architecture focused on simplicity: Who We Are, What We Do, and Browse. This revised user-friendly way of website navigation made finding content easier and more relevant to their target market. With the user experience re-imagined, Project6 was able to create a simplified, contemporary new design that updated the look and feel for the health care brand.
Project6 Design’s award-winning work for Goodwill Industries of San Francisco included designing a digital (and PDF) Annual Report. The new report is designed to highlight the non-profit's three main focus areas: People, Planet and Performance. The digital annual report uses large images, featuring people who help bring their non-profit goals to life, in a dynamic way of interacting with the content on top of the images.
“We’ve been working with CHCF for years and we have worked on a number of great projects for them,” said Esten Sesto, Founder and President of Project6 Design. “We were really excited to hear that our user experience and design work for the CHCF.org site was recognized. The Goodwill project was also really interesting for our team—we were able to create a digital annual report that was really engaging and humanized all the great work they do. Being part of these award-winning project is always gratifying.”
