Real Property Management, the leading nationwide property management franchise, today announced it has been named number two on the Utah 100, a list of the fastest growing companies in Utah.

The Utah 100 is sponsored by the Mountain West Venture Group and selects companies based on the percentage of revenue growth over the past five years. During that time, the Real Property Management franchises have expanded to manage tens of thousands of single-family homes and small multi-plexes through approximately 200 offices nationwide. In addition to homeowners and investors around the country, major clients including a number of the country’s largest lenders, banks, mortgage servicers, and private equity groups.

Real Property Management continues to forecast continued growth in 2012, despite a slowing economy. “Our growth is a direct result of a reliable, scalable property management model combined with housing market changes that have sparked a sustained increase in single-family rentals,” says Kirk McGary, co-founder and CEO of Real Property Management. “Younger generations are turning away from home ownership, more established families are returning to the rental market, and more investors are turning toward a buy-and-hold strategy—all of which point to an increased demand for single-family property management over the long term.”

Real Property Management began 25 years ago as a local property management company that swiftly came to dominate the Utah market. McGary and co-founder Doug Oler, a veteran within the H & R Block franchise, began the franchise model in 2004 to meet the growing need for a national, efficient property management system. Extensive training and support systems are continuously being improved and new technologies added to ensure that the Real Property Management franchise owners have the tools—and economies of scale—to deliver the highest standard of property management in a reliable, consistent manner across the country.

“Over the past few years we have expanded our national footprint to widely deliver a more efficient, consistent property management model,” explains McGary. “We are honored to be recognized by the Utah 100 for our efforts over the past five years.”
