PropertyOwner.us.org has started to build a blog with free information on how to make sure any property deal is legit, company official said yesterday.
“People already come to our site to check out legit information about properties,” a company spokesman said. “Now with the new blog, we can offer them an even deeper service to ensure they get a legit deal.”
The blog, PropertyOwnerBlog.us.org, will contain information that will allow people to know if a given deal is legit or has the potential of being a scam.
“We'll explain how non-legit scam artists operate,” he said. “We'll give them the top signs a deal isn't legit. We'll even tell them what their rights are if it becomes clear a given deal probably isn't legit.”
The company plans to keep track of the new types of real estate scams non-legit sellers are using, he said.
“Once people are educated about what scam artists do in the real estate industry, it will make it easier for them to know if a given offer is legit,” he said. “Then they can make sure they only strike a legit deal.”
The blog is already online and will be regularly updated with new information, he said.
“If you read our blog, you'll get legit information day in and day out,” he said.
