Protect Cell, a pioneer in handset protection, has announced today the appointment of Scott McLaren as President and Chief Marketing Officer. “Scott has a proven track record when it comes to building brands, as well as managing operations to drive sales and revenue performance. His strategic thinking, and his digital and dealer experience add depth to our established capabilities,” says Bryan Finnerty, CEO and co-founder of Protect Cell.
McLaren brings with him more than 15 years of marketing experience. He was most recently Director of Global CRM and Digital Marketing at GM where he defined and promoted best CRM capabilities and digital marketing strategies for GM in the global market and accelerated global deployment of CRM and business to consumer activities. Before that he served as National Advertising Manager for GM’s Saturn line where he was responsible for all Saturn advertising.
In his new role, McLaren will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the company, growing revenue and building the brand. “I am excited to build the Protect Cell brand and solidify our relationships with customers and dealers. Having a Saturn background, I have a passion for the customer, brand strength and promise, as well as a partnership approach to business,” says McLaren.
