Internet start-up, 10KWEB, is pleased to announce the addition of Caribbean island nation, Trinidad & Tobago, to its global family network. Trinidad & Tobago’s team is led by Tsahai De Silva who recently returned to her native country after spending the past 10 years in the UK working on various online business ventures. Tsahai is new to blogging but her blog’s unique style and content is responsible for almost thirty per cent of 10KWEB’s visitor traffic, according to internet rating system, Alexa Inc.
“I’m excited about the compensation program,” she said when asked about joining 10KWEB, “I’ve already begun building my team.” 10KWEB Co-Founder, Anthony Martins, is likewise excited by the company’s newest addition, “Trinidad & Tobago is one of those exotic locations with a storied past and hunger for future opportunities. With De Silva leading the way, I expect good things to come from our partnership.”
Trinidad was founded as a Spanish colony by Columbus in 1498 while Tobago was occupied by various colonists, including Spanish, French, Dutch and British. The country of Trinidad & Tobago achieved independence in 1962 and officially became a republic in 1976. Unlike most of the Caribbean, Trinidad & Tobago’s economy is primarily industrial with an emphasis on petroleum and petrochemicals. It is known for its Carnival and is the birthplace of steelpan, calypso, soca, chutney and limbo.
10KWEB was created January 2012 by Anthony Martins and Thomas Bang as an online resource for aspiring blog writers and small business owners. Their website launched on March 5th, 2012 and is currently used in the United States, Mexico, Great Britain, Germany, China, Morocco, Italy and New Zealand with more markets in development.
