Les Gets, French Alps (PRWEB) July 19, 2008
Featured in the French homes and interiors magazine, 'Maisons À Vivre', Le Vieux Chalet ("The Old Chalet") was built in 1910 in Switzerland. In 2001, the present owners dismantled the chalet and moved it piece by piece to a stunning location overlooking the Pic De La Corne in Les Gets in the French Alps. During the move, the owners added a range of new features such as en-suite bathrooms, under-floor heating and a sauna in a style in keeping with this charming chalet.
Chalet Experience director, Phil Teare says, "We're delighted to have Le Vieux Chalet on our books for Les Gets. It really is a stunning building and those who have used the chalet have been overwhelmed by just how beautiful it is - you can even ski off-piste right to the back door! For anyone looking for a truly authentic Alpine chalet experience, this is an absolute must."
Thoroughly modernised without losing any of its rustic charm, Le Vieux Chalet has 6 bedrooms and can sleep up to 17 plus it is only 350m from the nearest lift and run by the owner, who are based in Les Gets, so if there any problems there's always someone on hand to help.
