Perfectlycaptured.com is the first phase in a new idea in online photography image sharing.
A multi functional completely advert free site for photographers to upload and share their work.
An average rating system which removes the competitive element that causes disagreement.
An integrated live chat function where fellow photographers are only too keen to share their technical experience for both equipment and software.
An integrated modern PHPBB3 forum administered by friendly folk who appreciate that members don't want to wait a week for an answer!
We asked Helen the site owner where the idea for this first phase came from "Basically we saw a niche that slotted nicely between the many photo sharing sites out there, photographers want a site where their images are what draws the visitor's attention and not adverts and banners. We pulled together what we feel are all the best ideas for photographers to show their images online, one of which is the black gallery background. Many personal galleries utilise this colour but most hosting sites go for a lighter look"
This is just the first in a phase of "Perfectly Captured" galleries to be released. Site owner Helen would not comment on the next phase at this time as they are keeping their ideas tightly under wraps, but she did say that we should be hearing more very soon.
We asked Bradley head of I.T. about the site software development. "Much of our work is completed live, we want to add in features to fit our member's requirements so we are constantly listening to what photographers want and looking at ways to provide them the best service and options available. Friendly service and communication is paramount to us".
Asking Helen "How will the first phase Perfectly Captured become noticed if they don't use site advertising or link swaps?
Her reply was simple "We have had over 30,000 hits already it's all in the name, try typing 'perfectly captured' into Google and see what you come up with".
