The Nursing Home Complaint Center says, "can you imagine your mother, or father, stranded in a nursing home, unable to help themselves, laying in their own excrement? Think this is rare in our nations nursing homes? Think of these victims laying like this for hours, or even a day. It happens far to often." The group says, "most chilling of all, this type of lack of treatment in our nations nursing homes happens with great frequency. Tragically, many of these precious souls develop sepsis, or go into septic shock, they get transferred to a hospital, they die, and the family members never really knew what happened." Just as often we see, or hear about nursing home patients needlessly falling, and breaking a hip, or a leg, for no reason. Actually there is a reason.
