A little-known study by Dr. Richard J. Davidson of the State University of New York with Dr. David C. McClelland of Harvard University was conducted on the stress-reduction effects of a simple technique anyone can use called the Sedona Method.
If you feel stressed-out, anxious and worried you’re not alone. According to a survey by Harris Interactive and the American Psychological Association 51% of Americans feel the same.
The causes of stress include money issues, economic uncertainty, work, bad relationships, and poor health among others. The negative effects of stress range from mental fatigue, emotional instability to physical illness. Most people don’t know how to deal with or reduce their stress.

This technique allows a person to de-stress in the moment as a specific event (the stressor) is happening.
