Drexel University Launches New Online MS in Business Analytics

Citing growing demand for graduates, the new master’s program prepares individuals for jobs in this hot new career field.

In response to increased interest from employers and students in the fast-growing field of business analytics, Drexel University Online has launched the new Master of Science in Business Analytics degree from Drexel’s LeBow College of Business. This new master’s program draws on the areas of business intelligence including statistics, operations research, mathematical modeling and management information systems. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of management analysts is expected to grow 24 percent, much faster than the average for all occupations. Despite projected rapid employment growth, keen competition is expected for jobs in the field because of the independent and challenging nature of the work and the high earnings potential that make this occupation attractive to many.

The Drexel MS in Business Analytics is a lock-step, online cohort program.
