Certiport (http://www.certiport.com), the official test delivery solution provider for the global workforce and academic markets, today announced the company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the General Department of Vocational Training (GDVT) in Vietnam. The agreement will allow Certiport partner IIG Vietnam to work with the Vietnam GDVT to launch a new IT literacy program and offer technology certification at more than 600 vocational centers and colleges nationwide.
Approximately 350,000 students enroll in vocational training in Vietnam each academic year and one million students participate in the entire system. The IT literacy program will include the Certiport Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC³®) and Adobe® Certified Associate (ACA) certification.

The GDVT plans to work with IIG Vietnam to roll out IC³ certification with courseware in Vietnamese towards the end of 2011.
