“Although many of our recommendations were simple, we believed they would pay off in efficiency on a daily basis for WildTangent,” Marty Schillaci, CEO of The Resource Group.

Renton, WA (PRWEB) October 08, 2012

The Resource Group helped WildTangent gain added functionality of their Microsoft Dynamics® GP system by performing an operational review. The Resource Group is a leading provider of Microsoft Dynamics® GP (formerly, Great Plains), helping customers utilize their software solution to gain business insight and manage their organization more efficiently and effectively. Based in Redmond, Wash., WildTangent operates a cross-device games service that allows customers around the world to access games through a convenient WildTangent Games App.

Although WildTangent had been on the most recent of Microsoft Dynamics GP, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software platform, the company felt there were ways to increase its efficiencies and had The Resource Group perform an Operational Review for its business.

“Over the last few years, WildTangent has experienced rapid growth in transactional scale and complexity,” said Jarrod Voth, Senior Director of Finance at WildTangent. “Through rigorous interviews with our accounting team, The Resource Group was able to identify a number of enhancements to streamline our processes and procedures. Many of these improvements were rapidly implemented resulting in immediate efficiencies.”

Based on the Operational Review recommendations, The Resource Group eliminated some manual accounting and currency conversion processes and replaced them with more automated processes. Other recommendations included taking the company’s invoicing and payment from a multi-step to a single-step process.

“Although many of our recommendations were simple, we believed they would pay off in efficiency on a daily basis for WildTangent,” said Marty Schillaci, CEO of The Resource Group. “We believe Operational Reviews are an important part of making sure an ERP system is working effectively to help support current and future growth.”
