- "Smart Financial Data: How semantic technology can help big data become smart data.” A joint presentation with State Street Corporation, this session will use industry examples to discuss the fundamentals of semantic technology, its benefits for the financial industry and how the evolution of semantic technology can facilitate real-time data flow.
- “To Catch a Thief: Using Semantics to Detect Insider Trading”. This case study presentation will address what a semantic model for insider trading looks like, how it can rationalize trade data from across systems and organizations, and how semantics makes it possible to bring in key sources of information on the fly.
- “How Pharma is Benefiting from the Semantic Web: Cases from Competitive Intelligence to Pharmacovigilance and More”. During this session, attendees will hear concrete examples of how the pharma industry is using Semantic Web technologies across multiple disciplines including R&D, clinical and commercial applications.
