Sydney, Australia (PRWEB) October 14, 2012

Integrated Research (IR), creator of market-leading Prognosis®, today announced that Prognosis VoIP Monitor now incorporates integrated voice quality monitoring for Microsoft Lync and Cisco Unified Communications Manager, in addition to continued Avaya voice quality management.

Prognosis VoIP Monitor’s multi-vendor capabilities enables organisations with up to 5,000 phones to manage voice quality across Avaya, Microsoft Lync and Cisco, ensuring improved call quality, service reliability and proactive issue resolution.

The addition of multi-vendor support complements IR’s enterprise-level performance management solution − Prognosis for Unified Communications (UC), which enables organisations of any size to manage UC applications and devices, in addition to voice quality, across multiple vendors and technologies.

Embracing the evolving role of the voice administrator, Prognosis VoIP Monitor 4 is built using the latest mobile and tablet-friendly technology, so that the voice administrator is empowered whether in the office or on the move.

Further acknowledging the changing multi-vendor and BYOD nature of the workplace, a custom-built native iOS App, Prognosis First Responder, is now available to enable alerts to be viewed, prioritised and actioned from an iPhone or iPad.

Integrated Research CEO, Mark Brayan said “Microsoft Lync is inherently multi-vendor as it uses hardware and software from other vendors. We have taken the best of our existing product, embraced state of the art technologies and created world-class unified voice quality monitoring for Avaya, Microsoft Lync and Cisco.”

John Dunne, General Manager, Products and Alliances added “As we’ve had over 12 years of extensive experience in managing VoIP, users don’t need to create any monitoring or alert conditions, they’re all there right out of the box – across multiple vendors. Unlike probe-based solutions network managers don’t have to interfere with existing network structure or security; and with minimal set up Prognosis VoIP Monitor eases Lync integration into existing VoIP environments.”

New users can request a free license to monitor the first 250 phones in a Microsoft Lync, Avaya or Cisco environment from http://www.VoiceQuality.com. From this website, existing Prognosis VoIP Monitor customers can also request an upgrade to version 4.

As businesses transition to Unified Communications, Prognosis VoIP Monitor provides an easy upgrade path to IR’s well-established Prognosis for UC. Existing Prognosis VoIP management skills allows IT staff to meet KPIs and service levels and ensure a match with existing processes, tool kits and team structures.
