The evening’s agenda also included a charity update from the President of Upward Bound House’s and special recognition of its top supporters for the year. Upward Bound House’s mission is the elimination of homelessness among families with children in the greater Los Angeles area.
“Upward Bound House has been doing this important work for more than 20 years and the annual celebration is a very important fundraising event we all look forward to,” says Jaclyn Lantz, Director of Advancement at Upward Bound House. “Unfortunately the job doesn’t get any easier and this past year was especially tough due to the continuing recession. Thank you No More Poverty for helping us to continue our mission of eliminating homelessness.”
