Fergal O’Brien, the National Hunt racehorse trainer continued his good form at Cheltenham Racecourse’s opening meeting on Saturday 20th October 2012 with all three of his runners performing creditably. In his blog on the website he says:
“Bradley runs really well with staying on to come fourth. Ambrose Princess starts and runs a blinder over inadequate trip and wrong ground but she needed run and is back). Fidler`s Bid comes in Third at 50-1 in hot, hot bumper and jockey is highly complimentary. Fidler`s Bid is available for sale.”
For ISL Recruitment, sponsor of Fergal O’Brien Racing, that meant their logo on the rugs and staff clothing appeared three times in the parade ring and twice in the winners unsaddling area within a couple of hours.
This happened only a short time after they were given the opportunity to name a racehorse, which they called Perfect Candidate, and for it to run in their colours. They will be hoping that Perfect Candidate proves as successful in his debut on the racetrack as Fidler’s Bid did at Cheltenham.
