Our story goes like this. Lollytini was created by Cindy May. She and her girlfriends would have, what they called, Happy Saturday. Once ever so often they would get together at one of their homes. Anyone could come but had to leave all their problems at home. Hence, “Happy Saturday.” Cindy was responsible for creating new martini drinks. One Saturday she decided to create a Jolly Rancher martini, which she did, but it was missing something. A garnish. A few days later while driving she asked herself, "I wonder if I can melt a Jolly Rancher on the rim of a glass?" She tried and failed. It was a sticky mess. A week later she saw some candy molds in a store and thought, "I wonder if I can make my own candy that will go on a glass?" After about a month of experimenting in her kitchen, she figured it out. And after taking this to several parties, it got out of hand. People were calling and asking her to make Lollytinis for their parties. So one thing led to another and this real estate agent of twenty years turned candy maker.
Lollytinis are great for "girls night in", weddings, charity events, night club special events and much more. There are four flavors.....Raspberry, Lemon, Lime and Apple. Lollytinis aren't just for martinis. How about a gin and tonic or just a plain beer with a lime rim? A shot of tequila with a lemon rim? The combinations are endless. Lollytini hs been released locally in Louisville, Kentucky with national distribution coming soon.
