Texas Healthcare Trustees (THT) recently announced that trustee education provided by the QHR Learning Institute for QHR client hospitals in Texas will be accepted toward completion of its voluntary trustee certification program.
“The QHR Learning Institute (QLI) is committed to provide trustees across the nation with education that is essential to making effective and efficient decisions for the hospitals and communities they serve,” explained Bob Wiemer, Vice President. “Our clients in Texas can now obtain credit toward the Texas Healthcare Trustee’s voluntary trustee certification program through a variety of educational programs offered at conferences, in the classroom, and through Webinars.”

Below is a list of upcoming the 2012 QLI programs, as well as the credit hours that QHR client trustees can receive toward obtaining THT’s trustee certification:
o November 7, 2012- The 2012 Pre-Conference for Board Leaders (East) in Savannah, Georgia (3.25 hours)
o November 8-9, 2012- The 2012 QHR National Trustees Conference (East) in Savannah, Georgia (9.25 hours)
o Monthly Trustee Webinars are held on the second Tuesday of every month (1 hour each)
