Effective October 1st, 2012 NorthPointe Hospitality Management, LLC has taken over the management of the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany, Georgia. This is NorthPointe Hospitality Management’s inaugural hotel management contract with plans to add additional hotels to its portfolio over the next three to six months.
“We have worked with NorthPointe over the past two and a half years as our Asset Managers and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship as the management company of our hotel,” states Rick Patton, owner and principal of the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany, Georgia. Although this is NorthPointe Hospitality Managements first hotel management agreement as a newly formed company, its President, Greg Winey and his management team have well over 20 years of multi-property management experience in the hospitality business. “We are delighted and honored to be given the opportunity to run such a notable hotel in Albany”, states Winey. “Mr. Patton and his family are committed to the future development of downtown Albany and we intend on expanding and further strengthening relationships with the leaders of Albany in the near future”, continued Winey.
The Hilton Garden Inn Albany is a 122 room hotel with over 12,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. The property is undergoing an extensive renovation to upgrade its lobby, meeting facilities and guest rooms. “We are excited and completely thrilled with the new design concept regarding Hilton Garden Inn’s – Project Grow initiative”, stated Rick Patton, owner and principal. “In addition to Project Grow, we are planning on putting in a new Starbuck’s design, new fitness center, 36” flat panel T.V.’s and new carpeting and color schemes for all guest rooms, upscale bar concept with future outdoor seating and fire pit, as well as other updated features throughout the hotel”, continued Patton.
