The St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Reading Garden Event Series presents a special night with popular teen authors Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. The authors will read from their most recent work and discuss their popular collaborations, such as the teen sensation “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist.” The event will be on Thursday, November 1, 7:00 p.m. at Library Headquarters, 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd.

Copies of the authors’ books will be for sale at the event from Left Bank Books. A question-and-answer forum and book signing will follow the program. The program is free and open to the public.

Sensationally popular teen authors Rachel Cohn and David Levithan first teamed up on the hit novel “Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist,” a delightful and modern he-said/she-said teen romance which was turned into a blockbuster film starring Michael Cera and Kat Dennings. Cohn and Levithan also collaborated on the novels “Naomi and Ely’s No-Kiss List” and “Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares.”

Rachel Cohn’s new novel, “Beta,” the kick-off to a planned four book science fiction series, is about a teenage clone struggling to survive in a dystopian human paradise. Cohn’s other critically-acclaimed YA novels include “Gingerbread,” “Pop Princess,” “You Know Where to Find Me,” and “Very LeFreak.”

In his New York Times bestselling new novel, ”Every Day,” David Levithan introduces readers to what Entertainment Weekly calls a "wise, wildly unique" love story about A, a teen spirit who wakes up every morning in a different body, living a different life. Levithan is also the author of the popular teen books “Boy Meets Boy,” “Love is the Higher Law,” and “Every You, Every Me.” He co-authored “Will Grayson, Will Grayson” with John Green.

St. Louis County Library Foundation’s Reading Garden Event Series hosts free family events with authors and musicians. Sponsors include Commerce Bank, Companion, and the Sara Guth Costigan Memorial Fund.
