Sinclair Risk & Financial Management (SRFM) is pleased to announced that it has been named by the Independent Insurance Agents of America & Brokers of America (IIABA) as a Best Practices Agency. This national recognition places Sinclair, now for the twelfth consecutive time, in the top performing agencies throughout the United States based on customer service, company representation and professionalism.
“We’re are honored once again to be recognized as a Best Practices Agency and be a part of an esteemed group of independent agencies,” said David Sinclair, president of Sinclair Risk & Financial Management. “This recognition by the IIABA is a testament to everyone on our team, reflecting our unwavering focus on providing quality, responsive customer service; our commitment to ongoing employee training; our investment in technology advances to enhance operational efficiencies and communications to deliver what our clients need; and our strong partnerships and relationships with vendors and insurance companies. We pride ourselves in having a company culture where everything we do puts our clients first – from having a seasoned, knowledgeable staff that understands the intricate needs of our customers to providing solutions that go beyond traditional channels for an optimum insurance and risk management program, to offering products and services designed to protect people, property, and assets,” continued Mr. Sinclair.
Sinclair, founded in 1971, is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Connecticut and one of the largest nationwide with 60 employees at its headquarters in Wallingford and hub offices in Norwalk and Chester; Springfield, Massachusetts; and Naples, Florida. They provide individual and business clientele with insurance strategies and alternative risk-transfer solutions, risk management, loss control, claims management, financial consulting, and human resources management.
The Best Practices Study is sponsored by the IIABA, a national alliance of 300,00 business owners and their employees who offer all types of insurance and financial services products, and conducted by Atlanta-based Reagan Consulting. Since 1993, the Study examines the leading independent insurance agencies in the country to provide the agency community with a set of financial and operational benchmarks and a look at progressive business practices. The top 30 agencies in each of the study’s revenue-size categories are included in the study and earn the status of “Best Practices Agency.” Only 224 agencies in the country merit this distinction from more than 1200 nominations out of 26,000+-member agencies.
