Imagepak Marketing proudly announces that they can still make uniforms for teams who will be competing in the Blackwood Marathon Relay Adventure Race. The race will be run on 27th October at 9:00am in the town of Boyup Brook, and will finish in Bridgetown, WA. The race is contested by 5-member teams consisting of a runner, a cyclist, a swimmer, a canoeist, and an equestrian.
The Blackwood Marathon Relay is run by the Bridgetown Rotarians, who comprise the Marathon Committee, and a host of dedicated volunteers who ensure that every detail goes correctly and on time.
The race starts with a 12K run on a mix of bitumen and gravel, followed by an 8.5k river paddle. The contestants then take a lunch break. After lunch, at 1pm, there is a 1 km river swim which starts from the Jayes Bridge on the Blackwood River. There is an optional Equestrian 16k over pastureland and gravel roads, and the last leg is the 22 km Road Cycle, with challenging hills and a +200m half-lap of gravel trotting track to the finish line.
Imagepak Marketing, who offers a full line of promotional items and gifts, has a lot of experience in personalising team wear for sports leagues or special events such as this one. They offer personalised team shirts, singlets, water bottles, caps, bags, and can customise virtually any item for personal or business use. Imagepak Marketing is fully prepared to get last minute orders in for teams who haven’t yet personalised their gear.
Scott Eaton, owner of Imagepak Marketing, is excited to be a part of this event: “We love this time of year. There are a lot of events in Western Australia and the Perth area during spring and summer, and we are always happy for the opportunity to serve the sporting community, not only in Perth, but in all of Western Australia.”
Eaton continued: “Events like the Blackwood Marathon Relay bring out the best in everyone. The Relay combines the thrill of individual accomplishment with the camaraderie and teamwork that happen when you compete as part of a greater whole. We see it in the looks on our customers’ faces when they take that first look at a team uniform. They feel a sense of pride that is instantly visible on their faces.”
Eaton elaborated: “We have been making promotional products and items in the Perth area and all over Australia for a long time, but there is a special place in my heart for doing t-shirt and screen printing for athletic teams. Even though people compete on different teams and in different sports, it’s like being part of one large family of people with similar goals and interests.”
Eaton concluded, “It might not seem like an equestrian and a soccer player have a lot in common, but they both want to compete and they both want to be the best they can be at their chosen sport. At Imagepak Marketing, we are proud to do our small part and to be a member of what we see as a very unique and elite club.”
Imagepak Marketing makes promotional items and corporate gifts, and they deliver Australia wide. They personalise items such as t-shirts, stubby holders, Javacups, silicone wristbands, and offer a plethora of corporate items and sports uniforms.
