IDenticard Systems, a leading producer of security photo ID cards, security ID badges and access control systems, has launched a new suite of “Design-Your-Own” Tools for creating and ordering custom identification products from its website. Customers can design personalized photo ID cards, as well as custom Badge Buddies and badge reels.
“The Design-Your-Own Tools feature a made-to-order process that lets customers see their product as they create it,” said Mike Clemens, product manager for IDenticard. “In minutes, they can design a photo ID card with their own logo, colors and text – and see exactly what it will look like before they submit the order. It’s a time-saving and convenient solution for creating professional, high-quality custom ID badges.”
According to Clemens, the Design-Your-Own Tools feature a variety of different ID card sizes and materials, including standard PVC cards, adhesive-backed PVC cards, and composite PVC cards. Unlike other ID card manufacturers, IDenticard also gives customers the option to order NON-PVC cards, which are made from plastic, PVC-free polyester.
Customers can choose to design photo ID cards in any of the three available sizes: credit card size (2-1/8” x 3-3/8”), data collection size (2-5/16” x 3-1/4”), and government size (2-5/8” x 3-7/8”). The data collection and government sizes provide more space to accommodate supplemental personal information or a larger photo.
Using the Design-Your-Own Tools, customers can order custom ID products online in any quantity, and have instant access to real-time pricing for the products and quantities they are interested in. Cards are manufactured and shipped in five to seven business days, and are ready to issue as soon as the customer receives them.
In addition to photo ID cards, IDenticard also launched Design-Your-Own Tools for custom Badge Buddies and badge reels. Badge Buddies are often used with photo ID cards to identify an employee’s specific role or special achievement. Badge reels attach the ID card to the cardholder’s clothing and provide easy access to them via a retractable cord. Both the Badge Buddies and badge reels can also be customized with color, text and logos.
