TAP! 2013 - (Technologically Advanced Publishing) is a thought leadership and training conference pushing the limits in digital content creation, publishing, marketing and monetizing digital content. The event, sponsored by Adobe and NAB (National Association of Broadcasters), will feature 4 days of training covering both strategy and vision in digital publishing and multimedia integration as well as practical training on a variety of e-publishing platforms and solutions.
Sessions are designed for professionals who are involved in the migration of traditional publishing and broadcasting to new models. These include digital publishing, app development, social media, and podcasting. The goal is to reach mew markets using the web and tablets for self-publishing of print, video, music, radio and photography. From creation to monetization and distribution, the TAP! conference will focus on technical training, business skills and marketing knowledge in the rapidly evolving migration of content to tablets and smartphones.
“As the digital content trend explodes in the traditional publishing space, content creators are being asked to publish on many platforms for all types of mediums. TAP! will provide the intensive training and networking community that can further this trend and advance their careers,” said Ben Kozuch, president and co-founder, FMC Conferences.
The 3-day, 3-track (Wed-Fri) conference is also preceded by hands-on, full day bootcamp sessions on Tuesday. Also available is a 5-day (Mon-Fri) iPhone and iPad Apps Development hands-on Course.
