WHO: Nancy Champlin, Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Executive Director of ACI Learning Centers, will provide invaluable information about living and working with individuals on the autism spectrum.

WHAT: "Autism 101" Lecture Series & Training Workshop:

• November 4: Autism Spectrum Disorders; diagnosis and characteristics
• November 11: Problem behavior and appropriate interventions
• November 18: Community support and advocating for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders

WHEN: Sunday, November 4, 11 and 18, from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. Participants may attend one or all of the trainings.

ABOUT: This training is being provided for volunteers, family members of individuals with autism, and anyone else who would like to learn more about autism. ACI Learning Centers provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, which is the only research-based intervention recommended by the National Institute of Health and the American Academy of Pediatrics. ACI works with children, young adults, and families to assess, develop, and implement individualized programs that enable each learner to actively engage throughout their sessions while increasing, maintaining, and generalizing appropriate behaviors. ACI Learning Centers have helped individuals and their families across the country since 2002.
