Using interim and part-time executives to augment an existing management team for 3-9 months is becoming a popular option in human capital management.
(PRWEB) November 13, 2012
Cerius Interim Executive Solutions has added two new offices in San Jose and Los Angeles, California to address the intersection of two national trends – a growing demand by companies for alternatives to consultants and full-time employees, and an increasing pool of extremely qualified and skilled executives preferring to work on a freelance basis.
According to a recent study by the Harvard Business Review, the percent of U.S. companies planning to use temporary staffing at all levels will increase from 38% today to 58% over the next few years. The use of temporary or contract employees at administrative levels is widespread, but companies are now seeing value in using temporary employees in director-, vice president- and C-level roles.
“CEOs are looking for ways to boost growth and profitability with an organizational structure that can turn on a dime,” said Pamela Wasley, Cerius’ CEO, “Using interim executives to augment their existing management team for 3-9 months is becoming a popular option in human capital management.”
Kami Ames, Regional VP, will lead the new San Jose office. Cullen Gunson, Regional VP, will head the Los Angeles office.
