It is the world’s first server featuring up to 8 Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessors complemented by the industry-leading performance and energy-efficiency of the Intel® Xeon® processor E5 family. The CXP9000 supports up to 16 CPU cores and 480 coprocessing cores with nearly 8 Teraflops of peak double precision performance in a single 4U system.
The CXP9000 represents a huge step forward in many-core computing due to Colfax's enhanced engineering techniques. It is well suited for computationally intensive challenges in HPC and enterprise segments such as oil exploration, scientific research, financial analyses, and climate simulation, among many others.

These software suites include compilers, mathematics libraries, parallelization support, performance tuning and debugging utilities, documentation, — all developed and optimized specifically for Intel processors and coprocessors. Using this tightly integrated hardware and software solution, developers will be able to design applications for clusters and personal computers, utilizing performance-critical innovations, including multi-core parallelism, many-core coprocessors, new vector instruction sets such as AVX, data transport via PCI Express v3.0 and MPI over 10 Gb network.
