SpotOn exhibited at the OR Manager Conference in Las Vegas, the key national assembly of operating room decision makers from around the country. Glenn Mills, SpotOn President said, “The response to our tablet based app confirms once again how timely our product is in addressing new market dynamics that influence operating room nurses and suppliers alike. More advanced technology in the operating room combined with restricted access for onsite rep and tech support, results in nurses needing new tools to support their education and competency with supplier products. SpotOn gives them the digital reference tools to prepare for surgeries and an on demand virtual presence with supplier experts when the situation warrants immediate resolution.”
Mark Landman, SpotOn VP of Sales and Marketing added, “Nurses and Suppliers at the show understand that the game has changed and technological advances in the consumer marketplace can now be used to create efficiencies in the operating room. Our device can deliver expert eyes into the room immediately to provide time critical answers. SpotOn provides a comprehensive supplier reference guide and enables communication and cost efficiencies that have not been available to date.”
SpotOn also presented their model to suppliers at the North American Spine Meeting in Dallas. This meeting assembles spine surgeons and suppliers for one of the most dynamic and busy surgical specialties. SpotOn Chief Executive Officer, Tom Pfleider stated, “We are confident that when our product is used to it’s fullest potential, suppliers will benefit from increased sales, cost efficiencies in pursuing these sales and enhanced support capabilities. Ultimately, this results in satisfied customers and enhanced reputation for service.”
