Delta Travel is a private members only travel club that is much like an old school travel agent. According to Delta management, "A new system is in place where members never have a bad experience with a hotel, cruise, or any other type of travel situation. And if something does go wrong, our agents are there to help members get their vacations back on track with minimal effort and inconvenience. We're not perfect. There are some things we can't control. But we always try our best to go the extra mile."

According to an article on Yahoo, from Good Morning America, "The Hans Brinker Budget Hostel in Amsterdam is proud of being considered the worst hotel in the world and the owners even wrote a book about it.

The book warns guests in advance so they can't complain after they arrive. Some of the Hans Brinker's advertising slogans include: "It can't get any worse. But we'll do our best" or "Improve your immune system – stay at Hans Brinker!" And this "honest" humorous approach works, if you judge by the high percentage of the hotel's 511 beds in 127 rooms that are occupied these days.

The hotel's target clientele are mostly students and backpackers, who can appreciate the sarcastic humor and the price. The Hans Brinker ads make extremely modest claims: "Now with beds in every room" or "Now more rooms without a window," to go with the modest rate. "

To book travel through Delta Travel, one must have a membership and pay a small annual fee.
