The session will discuss the EEOC Background Screening regulations that were issued summer 2012; the increased outpour of I-9 audits and I-9 retention guidelines; recent NLRB decisions regarding employment at will challenges, and the importance of updated policies and employment handbooks. The training will also address the Wage and Hour division of the DOL in regards to hours worked, overtime, exemption status, and other pay practices. Additionally, there will be a brief update on the health-care reform, as it is now post-election.
This is the fourth of the series for 2012, and clients can expect a different topic affecting management and business to be presented quarterly.
