Jacobs Agency has been awarded a two-year contract for an Amtrak regional account. The National Railroad Passenger Corporation, Amtrak, strives to deliver high quality, safe, on-time rail passenger service. Jacobs Agency will provide marketing communications support for Amtrak’s Midwest and Southeast regions.
For 2013, Jacobs Agency will develop an integrated campaign to increase awareness of Amtrak among Midwest and Southeast travelers in order to drive awareness and ticket bookings on Amtrak.com. The year-long plan is slated to include a mix of strategic media placements, sponsorships and promotions.
“We are excited to be working on this prominent brand. I think we’re in a good position to help differentiate Amtrak from competitive modes of travel,” said Natasha Kesaji, VP of Client Services.
The new campaign is scheduled to launch early next year.
