After conducting a nationwide executive search led by healthcare leadership solutions firm B. E. Smith, Forks Community Hospital in Forks, Wash., has hired William McMillan as chief executive officer. A seasoned healthcare executive with more than 20 years in diverse leadership roles, McMillan will assume his new duties at Forks Community Hospital on December 3.

Prior to joining Forks Community Hospital, McMillan served as chief executive officer for Curry Health District in Gold Beach, Ore., where he provided leadership for the critical access hospital and integrated health system. McMillan also served as Administrator for Shriners Hospital for Children in Portland, Ore. and as CEO at Guam Memorial Hospital Authority and Guam Surgicenter.
