"Regardless of your own emotional state, it is essential to put your children's needs first when making decisions related to divorce or separation!”

West Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) November 29, 2012

Throughout January divorce attorneys, mediators, therapists, financial planners, coaches and other professionals will be providing free gifts to parents offering advice and insights to help them best cope with divorce and parenting issues.

More divorces get initiated in January, following the holiday season, than in any other month. That’s why Rosalind Sedacca, Divorce & Parenting Coach and founder of the Child-Centered Divorce Network, chose January to commemorate ICCD Month every year. This year divorce professionals in nations on four continents will be participating. Their purpose is to educate parents about how to prevent negative consequences for children during and after separation or divorce.

A special website has been created where parents can access free ebooks, coaching services, videos, audio programs and other valuable gifts by simply clicking links. The website will be available throughout January at http://www.divorcedparentsupport.com/ebook.

In addition, parents can find listings of free workshops, teleseminars, webinars and other special events being held during January on the Events Calendar at the same website.

“I am thrilled that divorce professionals around the world will be joining us to bring a heightened awareness to parents about their responsibility to their children’s well-being before, during and after divorce,” says Sedacca. “Our purpose is education and mistake prevention. We want to encourage respectful co-parenting, discuss the painful consequences of parental alienation, teach effective communication skills, and guide parents away from litigation-based solutions," she adds.

A divorced and later remarried parent, Sedacca is the author of the internationally-acclaimed ebook, How Do I Tell the Kids about the Divorce? A Create-a-Storybook Guide to Preparing Your Children -- with Love!

“We can never overemphasize how parental decisions about divorce can affect and scar children – for years – and often for a lifetime. Our resounding message to divorcing parents is: Regardless of your own emotional state, it is essential to put your children's needs first when making decisions related to divorce or separation!”

Sedacca is being supported by Dr. Dee Adio-Moses in bringing International Child-Centered Divorce Month into nations in Europe, Australia, Africa as well as North America. An ordained Minister, International Spiritual Teacher and Life Coach, Adio-Moses is originally from Nigeria and is now based in Atlanta, GA. She is the author of several books, including Live Again After Divorce, and shares Sedacca’s goal of facilitating healing and healthy decision-making following separation or divorce.
