On November 18, fishbat, Long Island’s largest digital marketing agency, announces that corporate donations from local vendors are increasing as the benefit concert Sand-Aid’s date of November 25th draws nearer. All donations and ticket proceeds will benefit Island Harvest, a Long Island food bank.
Long Island’s small businesses and private citizens have been reaching into their pockets to contribute to the Superstorm Sandy relief concert Sand-Aid. Recent contributors include Long Island Orthodontic Associates and Salesmaster. Both companies have made substantial donations to the benefit’s overall fundraising goal.
The benefit concert is scheduled to take place from 12 noon to 8 PM on Sunday, November 25th at 89 North Music Venue, located in Patchogue, NY, an area which experienced a considerable amount of flood damage from the hurricane. The concert now features performances by the following bands, with new bands still being added –

We are very grateful to these companies and everyone else who has donated their time, including the bands themselves and our energetic volunteers. We ask everyone to come down to the concert, listen to the sounds of Long Island’s musical talent, and raise some money for Island Harvest. So whether you come for an hour or for the whole day, just realize that you are helping to rebuild Long Island.”
Darrohn says, “In addition to raising money for Island Harvest through proceeds raised at the benefit concert, we are also still accepting donations of non-perishable food. fishbat’s main office is an official drop off point and will remain so throughout the holiday season.”
