November 19, 2012 – Woodstock, GA – GBS Enterprises Incorporated (GBSX), a global software and services company specializing in enabling organizations with IBM Lotus Notes and Domino environments to reduce costs and increase returns, announced General Availability of GBS Mobile CRM. Users of GBS CRM can now access and update critical information on their mobile devices.
GBS Mobile CRM allows customers to extend and increase the returns on their investments in GBS CRM (formerly Salesplace) and in Lotus Notes and Domino. Users now have all the information they need, literally at their fingertips, irrespective of location, connectivity or device. Easily maintainable and expandable, GBS Mobile CRM requires minimal training and can be deployed to a user device in a matter of minutes, plus it provides all the benefits of the secure Domino environment.
GBS Mobile CRM was made available to customers via an Early Adopter program to enable users and IT teams to use the product and provide feedback. Valuable inputs from these production environments helped the Mobile CRM team at GBS refine and enhance the product.
"The Early Adopter program for GBS Mobile CRM provided our users the ability to test the product in their environments and validate many of the benefits", says Grady Trammell, Applications Manager, Altec Capital Services, one of the Early Adopter customers. "This helped us evaluate the product’s functionality, usability, device compatibility and maintenance effort. We are pleased with the results of the program so far, based on which, we will deploy the solution to all our mobile users."
"Our team was very excited to participate in the early release process because of the important impact Mobile CRM has on our ability to better support our customers ", says Dominick Peraglia, Senior Network Architect, Daikin America, another Early Adopter customer. "The product provided all the critical features that our mobile users require. Users now have access to the information they need, irrespective of their ability to access their Notes Client, resulting in accelerated workflows and faster approval cycles making our services teams significantly more productive and responsive."
The highlights of GBS Mobile CRM include:
● Mobile access to key data
● Intuitive mobile interface for key functions
● Offline availability via a Mobile App
● Device independent access (iOS and Android devices)

“We are very excited at the response from our Early Adopter customers and look to extend the functionality of the mobile CRM application and also make available mobile offerings for our other popular Notes and Domino products,” says Gary MacDonald, CEO, GBS. “In addition, the underlying technology architecture of GBS Mobile CRM offers a framework for mobile enabling any Lotus Notes application, which helps us provide accelerated and cost effective mobility services for application environments”.
