D Custom was honored on November 5 at the 2012 Pearl Awards ceremony at the Liberty Theatre in New York City with three awards for their client work in custom content, website design and video.
The Pearl Awards are an annual event created by international association the Custom Content Council to honor excellence in editorial, design and strategy in the custom content industry. The 2012 competition drew a total of 628 entries from 15 different countries.

D Custom received a Silver Pearl Award in custom publishing for Omni Hotels and Resorts’ Escapes Magazine. Created to engage guests of the Omni properties, Escapes features compelling content that celebrates luxury living, adventure and travel.
D Custom’s video staging and production work for Carry the Load won a Silver Pearl Award. Carry The Load is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring veterans and active duty service members on Memorial Day. The video that D Custom created for the organization was featured in multiple marketing campaigns, including AMC Theaters and a red carpet movie premiere for Act of Valor.
D Custom’s website design for HealthWagers received a Silver Pearl Award in the digital category. HealthWagers creates both public and private health challenges to motivate and reward athletes through gamification.
