In a report released by the World Bank, its President Jim Yong Kim said, "We will never end poverty if we don't tackle climate change. It is one of the single biggest challenges to social justice today." He also asserted that the poorest countries will have the worst hit of food shortages, rising sea levels, cyclones and drought that climate change will, in the near future bring.”
