Saratoga Springs, NY (PRWEB) November 20, 2012
Informz, a leading email marketing solution for the association and nonprofit industries, announced today that the company will donate a total of $5,170 to Superstorm Sandy relief efforts. As part of the annual Informz employee giving program, where each employee can choose to donate $100 to a cause of their choice, Informz will be donating $2,000 to the Red Cross to benefit storm victims. Informz employees also raised an additional $1,585 for a fellow employee whose family home was destroyed by the storm. Informz has matched the employees’ contributions to the family as well.
The company, which offers an email platform that enables associations and other organizations to send targeted email communications, has also assisted many clients that were impacted by the storm or that serve constituents affected by Sandy. The company allowed emails related to the storm to be sent free of charge and Informz eMarketing Advisors stepped in to create emails for clients who were without power or could not access a computer.
"Our hearts and thoughts go out to all of those affected by Superstorm Sandy,” said Joe Tyler, President and CEO of Informz. “At Informz we think of our clients as part of our family, so it was important for us to offer them extra assistance in their time of need.”
