InkjetUniverse, an Ink and Toner Distributor in the U.S. shares part of its sales to aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy. From the original 5% Discount this Thanksgiving Sale, a percent of the proceeds will be donated to the relief programs facilitated by Direct Relief International. http://www.directrelief.org/
The Company’s decision to share 5% off their profits to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy is the company’s way to give back and help the victims most especially the ones from the East Coast and nearby Countries who had lost shelter, money, property and loved ones after the biggest and deadliest Hurricane hit them last October. Total damage of the Hurricane was estimated to have reached around $50 Billion and could be the costliest of all time for U.S. History. On November 2, the American Red Cross announced that they have deployed about 4,000 disaster workers to the damaged areas with thousands more moving towards the other highly affected states. It was estimated about 7,000 people spent their nights in emergency shelters including old women and children. But it couldn’t be worse than the 209 lives that were lost during this violent Hurricane. But in spite of this, the company believed that the victims will recover faster given our outmost support from all possible sectors of the country.
Despite of the increasing acquisition and shipping costs, InkJetUniverse remained supportive and believed that it is every business’s responsibility to help and care for its society the best way possible.
“It’s not just our social responsibility to help but also our purpose, we are hoping and praying for the fast recovery of our fellowmen from the East," – InkjetUniverse, California.
The Program will be from Nov 20 2012 – Nov 25 2012 and 5% of all Sale Proceeds will be directly donated to Direct Relief International.
