Washington, DC (PRWEB) November 30, 2012

Changes are coming to federal contracts at a dizzying rate and doing business the way you did two to three years ago can cause tremendous problems in today’s environment.

This program is designed to be a survey of what has happened in the last twelve months. As such, it does not claim to be an in-depth analysis of the rules on women-owned small business or the rules on disclosure of executive compensation. However, it is critical that participants in the process know what has changed in the past year so they can modify their polices and procedures accordingly.

Presented by two recognized authorities in the area of government contract law, this 90-minute interactive webinar will discuss how new statues, regulations and case decisions will affect critical aspects of your company’s policies and procedures.

The 90-minute webinar, entitled “Federal Contracting Year-End Review: Is Your Team Set to Tackle 2013?" is scheduled for Wednesday, December 12, at 1:00 PM Eastern.

James F. Nagle is a partner in Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker. Jim’s practice focuses on government contracts. He has extensive experience including working with supply, services, international, major systems, and construction contracts. His local and national reputation is such that both the government and contractors have used him as a consultant, expert witness or arbitrator/mediator. Prior to joining the firm, he served as chief of the Logistics and Contract Law Branch of the Department of the Army staff. He also served as a trial team chief in the Army’s Contract Appeals Division. Jim is founder and past chairman of the ABA Public Contract Law Committee.

Jonathan A. DeMella is a partner and member of Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker Government Contracts and Construction Law practice groups. His practice is focused on government contracts counseling and litigation, including performance disputes, bid protests, civil fraud under the False Claims Act, procurement ethics, mandatory disclosure, compliance with federal Small Business Administration regulations (including issues specific to Alaska Native Corporations), and Buy American Act and Trade Agreements Act compliance.

Following this presentation, there will be an interactive 10-to-15 minute question-and-answer session addressing material covered in the webinar.
Webinar tuition is based on location, not number of participants, so each registration site can have multiple participants for one low price.
