Shop Local for a Cause

Hardin Brothers Automotive has chosen to support TGGF because so many of our customers served in World War II or served our country in the military for many years. We are grateful for their sacrifices and those of their families.

Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) November 30, 2012

The Greatest Generations Foundation (TGGF) is a non-profit honoring WWII veterans and educating children and adults about their service. This organization is also a featured charity with the NALA, (http://www.theNALA.com), a small business association, presenting Shop Local for Vets, the 2nd campaign from Shop Local for a Cause. The NALA provides local business owners business growth opportunities through sales and marketing solutions while connecting to well-run charity organizations. Hardin Brothers Automotive is one of many of the NALA’s businesses throughout the country participating December 6-8.

Hardin Brothers Automotive is an all-around quality auto service repair facility serving the community of Tucson for over 12 years. 90% of their customers come from SaddleBrooke or Sun City, both large retirement communities where many of the residents are or were members of the Greatest Generation. Office manager Marge Craven said, “Sometimes the greatest gift we can give them is to allow them to talk about that experience. Hardin Brothers is a family owned business where we care for our customers first and then their cars.”

Owner, David Hardin, has 2 brothers who served in the military and 2 brothers-in-law who were career military, all of which served in Vietnam with one brother-in-law in Korea, as that war was ending. Owner David Hardin said, "Hardin Brothers Automotive has chosen to support The Greatest Generations Foundation because so many of our customers served in World War II or served our country in the military for many years. We are grateful for their sacrifices and those of their families."

Please visit Shop Local for a Cause to learn more or to find local businesses participating. TGGF also has a Text to Donate number; one can donate $10.00 to The Greatest Generations Foundation today, by texting TGGF to 20222.
