Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) November 29, 2012

The Licensing Executives Society International(LESI), a global association of 32 national and regional societies, each composed of individuals who have an interest in the transfer of technology or licensing of intellectual property rights, is pleased to announce that the second annual inaugural Global Technology Impact Forum(GTIF) will take place January 21-22, 2012 in Geneva, Switzerland. The GTIF Website now contains the 2013 event agenda and the public attendee registration is now open and available online.

The GTIF is established as one of the largest gathering of the world’s leading non-governmental organizations addressing the promotion of intellectual property licensing and technology transfer for the betterment of mankind.

GTIF Founder and LESI Immediate-Past President, James E. Malackowski of Ocean Tomo, LLC, explained "the second annual GTIF will continue the tradition of a unique problem-solving and networking forum for participating organizations to act collaboratively over the course of the following year in tandem with each organization’s distinct, yet interconnected, mission."

At last year’s inaugural GTIF event, over 25 global organizations participated, who in turn, represented three interest groups – Intellectual Property Protection & Harmonization, Trade & Economic Development, and Technology Transfer & Standards. These included our Strategic Partners, such as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).

GTIF 2013 will provide unique board-to-board networking and collaboration opportunities to move forward a consensus agenda addressing major intellectual property licensing and technology transfer concerns.

Institutional participation in the LESI Global Technology Impact Forum 2013 is by invitation only. The public, individuals, and the media may register to observe the proceedings. The agenda for GTIF 2013 is online at: http://www.gtiforum.org/gtif2013/2013-agenda/

Additional information about the January GTIF event’s agenda, speakers, and past participating organizations is available at GTIForum.org.
