Baton Rouge, LA (PRWEB) November 30, 2012
Baton Rouge School of Court Reporting (BRSCR) will be closed for its scheduled Winter Break beginning Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Onsite machine court reporting and CART/captioning students will return to classes on Thursday, January 3, 2013. Online resources are available to these students throughout the break for continued practice and study, but instructors will be available only for emergencies during the break.
Online students enrolled in voice court reporting and CART/captioning programs or in the online scoping program may continue to access all online resources during the break, with instructors available on a limited basis.
Administrative office hours during the Winter Break will also be limited, and students should contact the school director via e-mail for any administrative or technical difficulties, or leave a message on the school's answering system. Assistance will be provided for log-in or technical concerns on an ongoing basis.
BRSCR's sister campus, Professional Institute of Court Reporting (PICR) in Metairie, Louisiana, will close after night classes on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, and return to campus on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Contact the site supervisor via e-mail for emergencies during the break. Online resources will be available to students throughout the break for continued practice and study.
