Daystar Retirement Village, a Seattle retirement community, today announces the hiring of Sharif Elhadidi as director of dining services.

“I want our residents to have a great dining experience as often as possible while keeping their wellness in mind,” said Elhadidi. “It is important to keep residents – as well as their taste buds – interested by introducing real restaurant-quality foods that they can enjoy without totally forgetting about the comfort food.”

Elhadidi’s portfolio includes 25 years of hands-on food and beverage experience in fine dining restaurants, bistros, resorts and hotels. He earned a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts from Cairo University and has been a director of food and beverage, executive chef, operation manager and general manager in prior professional roles.

“We are excited to bring Sharif’s creativity to our residents and look forward to his ever-changing menu,” said Wanda Daudet, Daystar’s executive director.
