We believe leaders of all mission-driven organizations will leave the Summit with techniques they can immediately put to use toward increasing the impact of their organization.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) December 03, 2012

The 2013 Mission-Driven Management Summit, featuring keynote addresses from David Norton and Pedro Alba of the World Bank, will be held March 5-6 in Washington, D.C at the National Press Club. The Summit, now in its fifth year, will be hosted by Ascendant Strategy Management Group and will attract over 200 public and social sector leaders for a conversation and opportunity to network with peers about executing strategy in times of unprecedented change and challenge.

“We are thrilled to present our lineup of speakers and cases,” said Ted Jackson, managing partner at Ascendant. From David Norton, co-creator of the Balanced Scorecard strategy management system, to Pedro Alba, director of operations and strategy for World Bank’s Latin America and Caribbean Region (World Bank LAC) to Dustin Brown of the United States Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for the White House, “we believe leaders of all mission-driven organizations will leave the Summit with techniques they can immediately put to use toward increasing the impact of their organization.”

In addition to Norton, the 5th Annual Mission-Driven Management Summit (#MDMS13) will include presentations from the Department of Commerce, Boys and Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico, Rare Conservation, CFA Institute, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), KIPP Foundation, the Southwest Alabama Workforce Development Council (SAWDC), the National Fund for Workforce Solutions (NFWS) and other leading mission-driven organizations that are putting the best strategy execution and performance management practices to work.

“We look forward hosting the Summit at the Press Club once again,” added Dylan Miyake, a managing partner at Ascendant. The National Press Club is ideally located in central Washington, DC, a few blocks from the White House and the Metro Center Metro station. The Press Club has a more than 100-year history including speakers such as Franklin Roosevelt, Nikita Krushchev, Charles de Gaulle, Nelson Mandela, and the Dalai Lama.
