San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) December 30, 2012
The Electrical Equipment and Machinery Manufacturing industry in China produces many intermediate electrical items used by a wide range of downstream industries. Over the five years through 2012, industry revenue has been increasing 27.1% annually to $6.7 billion. Competing imports account for a significant proportion of domestic demand as many domestic enterprises do not have the advanced technologies to manufacture high-tech products.
The concentration level of the Electrical Equipment and Machinery Manufacturing industry is low with the top four manufacturers – Grand Tech Group, Meida Electrical Equipment and Machinery, Changqinglin Electronic Company, and Suyuanyineng Electricity Machinery Equipment (Wuxi) Company – contributing 12.0% of industry revenue in 2012. The combined market share of the top four companies has been falling since 2007 due to intensified competition among the industry's firms.
As the technology of domestic enterprises improves, growth in imports will slow, says IBISWorld. Additionally, the government will continue to encourage domestic manufacturers to develop foreign markets by providing them with financial support, especially western and northern manufacturers in China.
