This news comes off a banner 2011 where leasing hit an all time record for the company. “Company wide, the E.V. Bishoff Company has accounted for 228,658 SF leased to date in 2012,” said Abram Schwarz, head of the Cleveland Office Leasing Team for E.V. Bishoff Company. “We have had strong activity company wide both this year and last year, due to our unique owner operated philosophy, classic properties, central locations, and resurgence in the urban areas where we own properties.”
In the Cleveland office market alone, highlights include restaurant leases to the Cleveland Pickle and the Black Dog Kitchen and Bar located in the City Club Building; a ground floor lease of 4,500 SF to the International Services Center and a long term renewal to full floor office and data center tenant XO Communications in the Superior Building.
“We have been able to attract new, exciting, and successful food establishments based on the sheer number of people that now work in our buildings. Ground floors are fully occupied in our Cleveland properties, which will help us attract new office tenants that want terrific building amenities,” Mr. Schwarz said. “We are excited to see the results of a new leasing campaign to finish the year stronger than 2011.”
