I nteractivity Marketing, the area's top digital marketing agency, today announced its acquisition of Conway-based web design and Internet marketing company, 2ndPole, bringing two local businesses together as one.

Stan Stephens founded 2ndPole in 2009 after a photography hobby transitioned his interests into the digital realm. Holding a degree in Criminal Justice, Stephens said this is quite a conversion. "I have worked in several industries, mostly Justice, so when I began pursuing photography in my free time I had no idea it would turn into the stepping stone that would help me formulate my own successful small business."

Starting as a freelance designer, Stephens eventually obtained several local clients and business took off. Some of his previous clients in the area include Waccamaw Market Cooperative, Bodega Kitchen & Tablescapes, and Conway Journal.

Gary Henderson, CEO and founder of Interactivity Marketing, jumped at the opportunity for a merger between two local marketing businesses. Stephens is now employed full-time at Interactivity Marketing and is looking forward to this opportunity. "I'm happy to bring my experience and talent to such an emerging industry leader.
