Chantilly, VA (PRWEB) December 05, 2012
Training is a continuous process and regardless of a changing financial outlook, we all must find creative ways to keep employee skills sharp and focused as it relates to National Security. The days of centralizing training in one location are behind us; SASSi/NSTi leaders have adjusted their national security training model to meet this demand.
At SASSi/NSTi, they are aware of the obstacles that employees are faced with at their respective organizations. It can be difficult to request much needed training when budgets are being tightened, especially when the cost of out of state training includes: Airfare, Hotel, Rental Car, Per Diem, and Missed Work. In an effort to offer alternative solutions to this new fiscal environment, NSTi is bringing training “closer to home” for customers in 2013—promising to keep the world class delivery model while being fiscally responsible.
SASSi/NSTi is partnering with other defense and intelligence community organizations, enabling them to host 8 courses outside of their Headquarters in Chantilly, Virginia. Prospective students will have the ability to participate in training that will be provided across the country in 2013, from Lexington, Massachusetts to San Diego, California. This offers a unique opportunity for security professional organizations like NCMS, ASIS, ISWG and ISAC to sponsor and participate in NSTI core classes like their Facility Security Officer Course (FSOC), Special Security Officer Course (SSOC), and Practical SCIF Construction (PSC) Course.
Deedee Collins, Vice President of SASSi, says that “as we look ahead in 2013, NSTi is please to take its highly regarded security professional training courses on the road – doing our part to provide hands-on training while balancing the fiscal demands of organizations today”
All attendees can expect the exact same quality of training and level of professional development on the road as they would back at SASSi/NSTi HQ. Attendees will continue to be a part of the interactive classroom experience while engaging with a diverse set of instructors from multiple locations around the country from a multi-disciplined security professional approach. In addition, organizations will be able to save money by reducing, or removing all together, the cost of travel.
